This is a convenient location to Banner Elk; no winding roads to access. One of the Cleanest places i have ever stayed and would recommend to anyone. I will definitely stay when in the area again.

We enjoyed our stay at John’s place. His place was clean and exactly as pictured. Check in and check out were seamless. He gave us great recommendations for the area as well that were very helpful

I traveled alone to attend a wedding. I felt safe coming and going each day and night. The home was exceptionally clean. John supplied water bottles and extra toiletries which was a nice surprise. I would definitely book John’s place again.

This is the second time we have stayed at one of John's properties in Banner Elk, NC. Both places we have stayed at have been wonderful. John's properties are most definitely the cleanest places we have ever stayed in. The accommodations are exactly as pictured. The location is great and close to all that Banner Elk has to offer. The location is very peaceful, safe and easy to find. We always look to stay on John's properties first when visiting the mountains of NC. John is responsive, friendly and helpful with all aspects from checking in to checking out.

Beautiful space, great layout, the home felt much larger than it was. It was extremely clean and in a fantastic location. It was close enough to things you may want to see but far enough out that it was peaceful and quiet. Definitely a great place to stay in the Banner Elk or Sugar Mountain area.

It was a very pleasant stay here. The house was exactly as described in the listing and John is a very responsive host. Perfect home for two adults to spend a weekend. Will certainly come back and stay next time!

John's place was great - small and cozy, but very comfortable and had everything we needed for our weekend stay in Banner Elk. Very clean and easy to find, close to downtown, restaurants, and Lees-McRae College. Definitely recommend!

This home was perfect for my husband and me, and was near a large local event that we attended over the weekend. It was immaculate and still had a "new" smell. Although it was just off a main road, it was very private. The view of the apple orchard and wildlife on the back deck was nice in the mornings while drinking coffee. The other rentals nearby posed no issues. Rules and directions were clear to operate the TV, check-in/out, etc. Appliances are new, and the kitchen was well-appointed. The extra plug-in/USB charging boxes on each nightstand were especially helpful. The owner was very communicative and responsive through the app. We will be back next year. :)

The cabin is a great location - it is both private and quiet and close to a variety of restaurants. For the days you choose to cook in, the kitchen is well organized and well appointed. The front deck is the perfect, relaxing place to enjoy your morning coffee.

Thank you for a relaxing stay. The place was immaculate and convenient for everything we wanted to do. It was also very quiet and peaceful when we came back from our many adventures in the area.
