I stayed here with my family for the New Year’s Holiday. The place was great. The location could not have been better. It is right in between Beech and Sugar Mountains and right down the street from the super-quaint Banner Elk Main Street.
The place was stocked with all the essentials one might need like pots/pans/ glassware, Keurig coffee maker with K-cup coffees/sugars, etc.
The check-in/out was flawless and super easy. The place felt private and ‘homey’.
I would absolutely stay here again next time and recommend to anyone.

Our first time renting and this house could not have been more perfect. Cozy and comfortable. The bed slept so good. Highly recommend if you need a place to stay.

Our 2nd stay was just as great as the 1st.
Walked across the street to William’s Deli which has deli sandwiches and coffee (Nespresso style). Also found a great local coffee shop about 5 minutes down the road - Mountain Ground Coffee with tables, several breakfast sandwich options, muffins, etc… games. Cool spot. Nice to have the covered porch during rainy times at John’s place. We love the location too as you are super close to downtown Banner Elk (1.8 miles), close to Beech Mountain, & Sugar Mountain. Banner Elk has great dining options and an easy to stroll greenway downtown too. Fine dining: Reid’s Catering (7 minutes), Chef’s Table (5 minutes). Craft dining: LP on Maine loved the cider options and key lime tart). Tons of trails in the NC mountains.

This is such a great place to stay. We loved our stay and we will definitely be back. John is very proactive with communications.
The cabin has a wonderful view. The deck was so nice for a coffee in the morning or wine in the evening.
The layout of the cabin is well designed and so so clean!!!

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely cottage! The location was perfect—close to shopping, town, and plenty of outdoor activities. The cottage itself was spotless, spacious, and thoughtfully stocked with wonderful amenities, including an EV charger which was a huge plus. We especially loved relaxing on the porch and taking in the beautiful view. The bed was very comfortable, and the hosts were incredibly responsive and welcoming. Highly recommend!

This is a convenient location to Banner Elk; no winding roads to access. One of the Cleanest places i have ever stayed and would recommend to anyone. I will definitely stay when in the area again.
