Johns house was just as described. it was easy to find and we were able to park right next to the front door with no stairs to climb. The house was clean and well equipped. Loved sitting on the deck viewing the mountains. Close to downtown and shopping.

this was an amazing place to stay - super clean, the host was very proactive and helpful, and it was the perfect place to go back home to after a day on the mountain!

I stayed here with my family for the New Year’s Holiday. The place was great. The location could not have been better. It is right in between Beech and Sugar Mountains and right down the street from the super-quaint Banner Elk Main Street.
The place was stocked with all the essentials one might need like pots/pans/ glassware, Keurig coffee maker with K-cup coffees/sugars, etc.
The check-in/out was flawless and super easy. The place felt private and ‘homey’.
I would absolutely stay here again next time and recommend to anyone.
